Change Begins Within
Charles’ story is a must-watch. He talks about working at a university in Namibia and how he unwittingly signed up to coach a special-needs team. “That was my first test,” he says, and the results were immediate. He kept going back and is now Director of Program and Sports for SO in all of Africa. Though the continent ranks very high in challenging places to break down cultural barriers for people with special needs, his personal story gives great hope for Africa’s future, especially with Charles at the helm.
