“When we fail, people’s lives are lost.”
That’s a quote from Tim Shriver at a press conference at the games in Athens. It was about 4 days into the games, he was clearly tired and a little emotional. But his passion about the Special Olympics, and for people with special needs really comes through, and that quote has stayed with me for 2 months.
